Summary

Driven infrastructure and platform engineer with a full-stack background, specializing in multi-cloud environments across AWS GCP and Cloudflare, Kubernetes, and infrastructure as code. Passionate about automation, reliable platforms, and mentoring the engineers who depend on them.

Experience

Crunchyroll

San Francisco Bay Area | Hybrid

DevOps, Core Infrastructure Engineer IINovember 2025 – Present
  • Edge and security: launched Crunchyroll Store 2.0 with the ecommerce team across Cloudflare and AWS, writing WAF and rate-limiting rules that blocks 5M-10M+ requests from scraping bots per day.
  • Platform tooling: build reusable infrastructure components and CI/CD workflows used company-wide, and support the developers running them across 80+ AWS accounts and hundreds of repositories.
  • Complex migrations: delivered a multi-region licensing service handling tens of millions of requests, migrating traffic off the legacy system and decommissioning it safely.
  • AI tooling: maintain an AI DevOps agent on Amazon Bedrock that triages internal support requests and posts recommended fixes to Jira, trained on Jira history, Confluence, and internal best-practice docs.
  • Incident automation: deployed AWS DevOps Agent across accounts, wired into multiple MCP servers for searching so it resolves issues raised by Datadog monitors or ad-hoc developer chat requests.

  • Test tooling: developed a specialized library and end-to-end tests involving SIP, integrated with WebdriverIO to simplify testing with the SIP protocol.
  • Mentorship: supervised software QA engineers, managing backlogs and providing code reviews for test automation software.
Software QA EngineerMay 2021 – May 2022
  • Test automation: developed end-to-end test scripts with JavaScript and WebdriverIO for the web app, reducing manual testing by more than 80%.
